Silk georgette is a fabric that made from silk. It is lightweight, soft and transparent. The thing makes silk georgette distinctive is the crinkly crepe-light texture, which feels slightly rough and dull, but gives the silk fabric a bouncy and flowing look. The threads used in silk georgette fabric are highly twisted, which causes them to crinkle as they relax.
